The serious mountaineer has easy access to many of Ireland's finest mountain hikes. We can arrange hiking programmes to suit any level of fitness, ambition and navigational expertise, providing transport to and from start and finish points.
For those reluctant or insufficiently experienced to venture into the high mountain region unguided, Richard will gladly accompany you and show you places you might never discover on your own. His years of experience gained while leading groups in the Irish and Scottish hills provide an invaluable learning opportunity to those seeking to learn or improve their navigational and map-reading skills. Courses can be arranged for groups of 3 to 6 people.
Many gentler alternatives to the open moorland of the high uplands, are available on local hill and forest tracks which provide a myriad of walking options. The newly opened Tinahely Railway Trail and Tomnafinnogue Wood walk offers a sylvan kaleidoscope filled with birdsong!
